Heyhey everyone :) Greetings from New York City!

How's everyone doing? Hope all have been well... I have successfully survived one sem at Hopkins and, hmms, 5 more to come...

Have been travelling around since my last paper ended on the 18th; was in Boston and Providence for a few days, somewhere in the mountains of New Hampshire and Maine for a few days (skiing :D) and now I am in NYC. Was expecting to experience a white Christmas but well, hmms, it is not even cold at all... 2 weeks ago Baltimore was having temperatures near 20 deg, and now it has been hovering around 5? Zero snowfall so far in the NE, lots of rain though. Probably not as bad as Singapore :P

Have done crazy things like *some form of* shopping (sales period! might be doing more, though I know nuts about brands; mostly watching my friends buy stuff hahaha) and one whole day in the Met; will be doing even more crazy things like Time Square Countdown, and an evening with NYC ballet for The Nutcracker (ok this might not be crazy). Will then go back and start mugging to death again on 1 Jan.

Yup I should be coming back mid/late-June, after (still under planning) spending 3-4 weeks in the UK. Haha UK pple, be prepared for my invasion :P Though I will need to work around everyone's exam schedule...

hello :)
22nd December, a bunch of us met up for lunch! as usual, we mooched around for about an hour, considering various lunch spots because the originally intended one had jacked up its prices for the Christmas weekend crowd. blast it! anyway we finally ended up at Sizzler's! i heard from yg that he and shiying walked 2 rounds around the suntec fountain before finally deciding to consult a map. hahah.

yummy salad bar! you could get stuffed on that alone :) sirloin steak done medium rare. junyi likes his meat rare!! ooh my. frrresh blood.the happy and stuffed turkeys! note kangwei looking like a preppy brit boy/korean star. ahaha. also welcoming back from lands far away, andrea, shiying and yg!

here check out kw's new hair. and weewee's lack thereof ;) and of course the happy little cardboard snowmen that were hanging around the restaurant!

yay! and as usual, after the lunch, the whole aimless bunch of us stood around, obstructed traffic and talked. haha. some things never change.

here's a shoutout to those overseas.. yinghui, kelvin the wai, liangsheng the podiatrist, xiaoyang, jiwei, michelle lai!! :) we haven't forgotten you all. where's jenny btw?

come back soon, and we'll get together and roast a chicken around the fire :D meanwhile, we just recorded the third highest rainfall ever. hope no one's house got flooded. maggie's moving house to CCK and thus couldn't join us this time. we missed u dearie! the yishun gang has officially become de-yishunded.. so sad.. only shaoyong's left to hold the fort.

haha ok enough crappy stuff for now. stay warm! Blessed Christmas!

Harlow people!!

I've just finished my last paper and now I'm free =) I'm going down to NYC in a few days, then I'll be flying off to puerto rico (for sun, sand, sea, babes) and then costa rica (for treeclimbing, yes, like a fucking monkey) for break! There are tons of little complicated things in my trip, and hopefully I'll be able to sort all of them out before I fly. Well, I'll be thinking about you guys! Can't wait till summer comes, so I can see you all again.

Love,
Kelvin

HEY ALL!

It's amazing you guys can still remember my birthday, and I just remembered I had a taller twin in the class, albeit a year apart. (YES IM TALKING ABOUT YOU, LAU HIU YEUNG!!) hurhurhur.

Jokes aside, it's been one hell of a ride for me since JC ended. Tough, but enriching nonetheless. I've been through a few knocks here and there, but thankfully I've met people who guided my reins to where I am today. I still am lazy, and still talk alot of cock, but you know, I think I've become a little better of a person (I hope).
For those who totally don't know what the duck I've been up to, here's a quick rundown:
1. Army for 2 years and 2 months till May 31st this year.
2. Currently studying in LaSalle SIA College of the Arts, doing Visual Studies Foundation.

I know some of you might like the Greek I just said, haha but in university terms, I'm in year 1. :)

Also, I've recently been in frequent touch with my musical roots, or what's left of it, and I'm currently learning how to sing better, and aspiring to be a performer of sorts someday. How cool is that, your GP rep can sing! actually i prefer to be Physics rep but due to certain unfortunate circumstance..

Yeap. I think I can still remember every single person in the class, how they were, what they looked like, and it's been a blessed journey for me to be in you guys' league. Not exactly the religious Hwachongian, but I still feel proud to receive good education. I do believe in the importance of education, and as for you guys, I'm glad that you guys stuck through all the textbooks and papers. I know I will never be able to emulate similar efforts, but I count my blessings, and so should all of you.

THANK YOU, every single one of you, for the WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL MEMORIES! Thanks for keeping it real, thanks for the guidance, the friendship, the company, the help, the compulsory remedials, the smelly after-basketball sessions, the Coronation Plaza sessions (The Cute Chicken auntie still recognises me), the bitchy lab sessions, the CLASS BENCH sessions (It's probably decaying due to my decomposing saliva in it).

THANK YOU, for keeping it real. For those abroad, wrap a few more layers to keep yourself warm. For those at home, turn up the aircon to keep yourself cool. All the VERY VERY VERY VERY best in your endeavours, and have a truly blessed festive season! ANd drink more water and eat more vegetables!

*limps off with a crutch for my lameness*

Hey 76!

What's up?
Oh, the black guy in the photo's Twista! He came down to Ithaca to play last Sunday, and I made time to catch him live. And I got his autograph!!! For those who know their black rappers, it's a pretty big thing. For those who don't, =).

I notice that we have done as much for the blog as PAP for Potong Pasir! What happened to our shoutbox? Now I have to resort to using a regular post to chat with u guys. Anyway, it's finals week for me now in Cornell and I'm snowed in! Although I won't be coming back to Singapore in winter, I still miss u guys. I know that you guys have finished your exams already (congrats). Enjoy your hols. =) Back to Java now!

Cheers,
Kelvin
